Roles and Permissions

Within each Organization, there are six predefined roles and respective permissions available for assignment: Account Owner, Admin, Release Manager, Finance Manager, Marketer and Customer Service Rep. Each role provides access to a predefined set of features consistent across titles, reports, and settings within the organization.

Account Owner 

The Account Owner has full access to create, modify, and view account information within an Organization (e.g. titles, financials, user feedback). The Account Owner is given the option to invite additional team members and assign one of these four predefined roles for invited usersAdmin, Release Manager, Finance Manager, Customer Service Rep. The Account Owner is also able to manually reassign and/or remove all other users within the Organization.  

 

Admin* 

Admins have full access to create, modify, and view account information within an Organization (e.g. titles, financials, user feedback). Admins are given the option to invite additional team members and assign one of these predefined roles for invited users: Admin, Release Manager, Finance Manager, Customer Service Rep. Admins are also able to manually remove other users within the Organization.   

 

Release Manager 

Release Managers have access to all title-related functions within an Organization. This includes creating and editing titles, managing test builds, and modifying edit store metadata. Release Managers also have access to user feedback and can respond to user reviews on behalf of the organization. 

 

Finance Manager 

Finance Managers are given access to view and modify all financial information within an Organization. This includes the ability to edit bank, tax, and contact informationas well as the ability to view financial reports (e.g. transaction, earnings, payout). 

 

Marketer 

Marketers have access to all title-related and title management functions within an Organization. This includes managing title promotions and utilizing custom discounts to promote their Organization’s titles.

 

Customer Service Rep 

Customer Service Reps have access to user feedback and can respond to user reviews on behalf of their Organization.
